Benefits of cavity insulation
Reduce heating bills
20-30% of your home's heat loss occurs through your walls. Cavity insulation (if applicable) will reduce heat loss in your home.
Cavity insulation will help make your home more energy efficient and comfortable to live.
Reduce your carbon footprint
Reducing your home's heat loss via its walls will reduce your energy consumption. As you will then be using your heating less - you will also cut down on your greenhouse gas emissions
A cavity wall consists of two rows of brick or concrete block with a cavity or space between them. Injection of insulating product from the outside is the best method for insulating this type of wall.
If your home is built using solid wall or hollow block construction methods, cavity fill insulation is not possible. You have two options: either internal wall insulation or external wall insulation.
The optimum solution for your specific case should be discussed with the Contractor.
