Any private owner who buys an eligible EV from 01/01/18 is eligible to apply for this grant
The EV must be parked on an off-street parking location associated with the home and the charger must be connected back to the fuse board of the home applicant
The Meter Reference Point Number (MRPN), which you can find on your electricity bill, will be used to confirm your home address
The property cannot be associated with any past or previous EV vehicle grant and charge point offer.
Do not commence any work before the start date on your letter of offer. Any work undertaken before will not be compensated
Vehicles bought new or second hand from 01/01/18 is eligible to apply for this grant.
EVs include Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs).
Vehicles purchased in Ireland, privately imported as new or second hand and registered in Ireland in 2018 or later and second hand EVs purchased in Ireland are eligible.
Vehicles must be registered for private use.
